Meeting Artist In Her

(As she was graded Drama artist she became part of AIR and Doordarshan in Delhi. Her success lead her to shift her base to Mumbai as their was more opportunity for her to satisfy her artistic streak. She not only acted in TV serials and Movies but also she wrote songs for them too.)

Apart from writing she had bend for acting too and was Graded artist of Akashwani and Doordarshan. This resulted in her acting in serials made in Delhi Doorrdarshan, which made her decide to shift her base to Mumbai to venture in a new different world, to be creative in visual world. From poetess she became actress and was working in TV serials, which quenched her multifaceted artistic streak, struggling to come out from her.

By this time she again started accepting invitation from Kavi Sammelans, as now she was an established poetess of repute. While attending a Literary Function in Mumbai, she was approached by Rajshree Productions and it turned put that he was none other than Rajkumar Badjatiya, to write for them but she was to independent to write on dotted lines so she refused to join them. But later she wrote all the songs, for their very popular TV serial "Vo Rahne Vali Mahalon Ki"

On one side Poetess in her was writing sensitive ghazals, nazm and poems and on other side she was enchanting the world with her acting talent and worked in TV serials, some of them are "Jayan Per Basera Ho","Kunti","Urmila","Kadam","Hakikaat","Kumkum:","Ghar Aik Mandir" and "Shagun". As she was acting , she was also penning Theme Songs of the Serials.

Every milestone of her life laid the foundation for new milestone to meet. She again surprised every body by working in a Movie called "Tanu Weds Manu" and got noticed. She relived her role again with gusto in "Tanu Weds Manu Returns", which is a Box Office Smash Hit.
